So, there are always these things that people who want to be parents think, "I want to do that with/for my child!"
My friend Anne showed me some links to bento boxes in the past, but now I have found a blog that is SUPER CUTE.. and hopefully, when I do have a child in my life this is something cute that I can do for them..

This isn't a huge deal, but I buy a Christmas ornament for each child every year. I try to pick something that represents the last year for them. The plan is, once they are old enough to be living on their own I can pack up their ornaments for them and they'll have some great memories.
Once and awhile I slip a "love note" in Finn's lunch box too. It embarrasses him, but he secretly loves it.
PS Finn went to the YMCA today because there isn't any school...guess what he said on the way there? "Did you put a note in my lunch today?" See, he DOES like it!
