Big Day!

Mic and I don't do much in the way of holidays. We aren't big gift givers for one another as we purchase things when we need. On Valentines day and each of our b-days, we DO something special. Tonight we are going to the Milwaukee Lesbian Alliance Valentines Day Dance-- we have done this before, and it is just a nice event to attend. I also had my friend from work, Rebecca, make some of her special sugar cookies for Mic. Don't get me STARTED on Rebecca's talents as a baker. If she wasn't going to school to be a funeral director-- I would co-sign a loan for her to open some sort of bakery-- she is AMAZING... anyways.. She made sugar cookie hearts and put them on sticks.. I gave her phrases to put on them... things that are funny or meaningful between Mic and I.. like "My Boo", "SPOON ME!" (her response: NO. My response.. HONEY! SPOON ME! Her response: NO. Me: You can't just go saying 'no' to me whenever you want... Her: *giggle* okay.. I will spoon you), "Cute hair", "HONEY- c'mere, look at this" (I probably say that 34 times a day), "put your mask on!" -- That one is funny because I wear a sleep mask, and that is the last thing I hear everynight-- who wouldn't want to be lulled to sleep like that??? :)
Rebecca got a rose box from a floral shop we work with regularly, and walked into the kitchen lastnight with them-- Mic LOVED them.. that made me happy!

We had our first Wildtree open house lastnight at our house-- the turnout was great and it was just a REALLY good time. Mic and I love the product so much- I think people could really tell- and they went nuts. The stuff sells itself. IT IS all DEELLISSHHH. What is totally weird, and we actually woke up this morning talking about it.. (I know! our pillow talk is roomaanntticc!!!).l..people came over lastnight, talked, ate, drank some wine (like most of the get togethers we have) and we MADE money. WEIRD!!! People were so thrilled that three guests signed up for parties.. and those are going to be a blast, too! Is it strange that when I pull out my camera, the dog poses? Yeah. I thought so.
