Today is the 2nd anniversary of Lisa's death. Today I pray that they will soon find a cure for ovarian cancer, and that no woman, especially so young, would have to suffer with this HORRIBLE disease.
She was my first true love...even after it was decided that we would no longer be together as a couple, we never lost daily contact... and I see it as a blessing that she wanted me there to help her survive all the way through to her last breath.
I miss her laugh and the way that she could walk into a room and make 5 new friends before she left it. She honestly touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with, if it was her honesty, her humor, her smiley eyes, her ease of conversation, her bluntness or her friendship...she will missed by so many for so many reasons!

I'm sure she was a beautiful person. Inside and out. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Thanks for stopping my blog. I have added you to my blog roll.
Sending you big hugs today.
Oh Casey, I miss her too. And you are right. She'd make 5 friends before she walked out of the room. Why can't we all be like that.
Love you
A and Angie-- thank you for the kind words! I wish you knew her.
