a breath of fresh air?

and we are zen...

Case Worker Tres is wonderful.

She has done everything she said she would, and she had a good sense of humor, too.

We happened to go out for a couple of brandy old fashioned sweets and a fish fry on Friday (do people outside of Wisconsin drink those?) and ran into another social worker. Yes.. small world. Two more BOF's and we are yabba dabba doin' and she asked us who our old caseworkers were.....and who CW Tres is... she said we have the best one there.

good. I want the best one there to be on our team.

EDIT: google "brandy old fashioned sweet- Wisconsin style" and not only will you get some amusing stories and directions on how to make it and order it, but it will state that it is traditionally drank at fish frys, too.

God I love this state. Minus the freaking snow...but that gives us character.

Brandy old fashioned sweets? Never heard of them...but well I recently just had my first trip to Long Island. That's how sheltered I am. :)

Yeah for the good caseworker (FINALLY!)...still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

1st long island!?!? We used to drink those out of fish bowls at a gay bar upnorth. I can't imagine why I only remember ordering it....

Guuuuuurrrlllll these drinks are WONDERFUL... and even better when the bartender is old school and muttles the sugar and something-that-is-still-a-mystery together (it may be bitters??)

And, yah, never heard of that drink.

yes, it's sugar and bitters. You need an old person to make them right. Yum yum! I go to The Roxy here just for their O.F.'s.

I'm glad you finally got the right c.w. Maybe Mic was right about all the M's.

Did you want a teenager? I have one for you.

Well, I've never had (or heard of) a brandy old fashioned sweet...but I did date a straight girl from Wisconsin once (it's a long story....)

I'm glad you found my blog. Wishing you lots of luck...I will be following along.

I'll have to ask my ex **gulp** husband (it doesn't count cuz he was gay too) about the Brandy old fashioned sweets, because he's from Duluth. He used to drink all sorts of drinks I'd never heard of.

I'm hoping and praying that CW3 is the one that is going to deliver!
