I need a vacation!

I would love to get away with Mic.. it doesn't even have to be RIGHT NOW. Just give us something to look forward to.

Does anyone have any reasonably priced favorite getaways?

I have heard so much through blog-land of this lesbian resort ... it may be called The Highlands??? I can't remember!!!

Maybe something cabiny, quiet, hikey, just nice.. On the other hand, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to P-Town, but I have no idea when to go or where to go...

Cost is definitely a factor. But, we are good savers...

Does anyone have any fun getaways for lesbos on a budget? We are open to anything-- it doesn't have to be a "hot spot" by any means!

Florida?!

If you are looking for a lesbian getaway... check out Pearls Resort in Key West. It's beautiful and the keys are awesome! That's my recommendation!

I will always recommend Key West as a great lesbian friendly getaway. Staying on Key West can be spendy but if you're staying on the island you don't need a car and can save that expense. We've rented a car and made the drive down from Miami a few times and stayed on one of the other keys. We've rented homes there for a very reasonable price.

The Highlands Inn is where I took B for her birthday in December!!! It's AWESOME. Seriously, it was amazing, even in the winter. It would be great in any season. B and I are trying to go back in the spring.

You can check out pics from a December blog I wrote, I believe.

OMG if you go I'll make you let me know so I can try to go at the same time!!! Hahah.

P-town is where we use to vacation every year when we were living in Jersey. Angel's Landing was one of the places we stayed.
Sandpiper was another place but looking at it now, over $200/night..wow, prices have gone up. You want to be within walking distance of Commercial St.
There's also a camp ground in P-town. I think everyone should experience a vacation at this place at least one time in their life.

Manchester is the only airport in NH to fly into.. I'd say Logan Airport in Boston for P-town...

Angie- you are so nice. My parents are at their condo on St. Pete Beach as we speak. I am supposed to be there, but I waited too long to buy my tickets.

Okay, Kel I will look into those airports!

Do some online research.
Think about where you want to go and what you would like to do on your vacation, then you can take it from there.

P-town would be great...there is a site you can check out online, and it has all the happenings and whatnots.
I'm with Jude, everyone should go at least once.

Well,.....there IS this awesome town in Northeast Wisconsin. I just so happen to live in it. You'd have AT LEAST one bed to sleep in and AT LEAST one bathroom to share with 5 other people. And we'd totally let you sleep in. We wouldn't knock on your door, or let the dogs in or anything. And Finn rocks the omelets. Tempting....

For ptown, you would fly into boston. For Bethlehem, NH, you can fly into either Manchester, NH or Boston. Manchester is a good hour and a bit north of Boston, so it would definitely be closer to the Highlands in terms of driving. Let me know if you decide to go either of those places and we can help you out with info, etc - it's "our neck of the woods"! We love both places, but it depends on if you want mountains or beaches....
