I have heard so much through blog-land of this lesbian resort ... it may be called The Highlands??? I can't remember!!!

Maybe something cabiny, quiet, hikey, just nice.. On the other hand, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to P-Town, but I have no idea when to go or where to go...

Cost is definitely a factor. But, we are good savers...

Does anyone have any fun getaways for lesbos on a budget? We are open to anything-- it doesn't have to be a "hot spot" by any means!

But I am in a meth-like state of being that has been brought on by Tylenol night time cold medicine.

I am floating.

• T and A. oh! HA! T & A...!! LOL- anyways.. I think it is "game on" .. and I love that.
  
• V-day was wonderful--- Hosted 10 people for a healthy dinner (with healthy wine) then went to a v-day lesbian dance and then a trashy bar... pics to come
• Happy people, happy friends.... I love the strong women I have around me
• My sister- health issues, more tests tomorrow, prayers are constant
• Screw running, we are moving to biking. who the f*^@ runs? gross.
  
• my rug hooking is coming along slowly but surely. I love it!
  It is a very small rug at the moment- kind of coaster-ish... but it is growing!
  

I hope this cold goes away soon. It is really putting a kink in my every day life. I just come home and sit. staring. drooling, sometimes. Mic rubs my feet, and makes me soup. I am blessed.

1st I received a WONDERFUL cross stitch in the mail from Jelly Stitches. I won it at her blog-- I would tell you to check it out, but now I want to win everything :) Ok, fine.. go check it out! She has talent and is sasssssyy!!! Thank you so much, Jelly!!!! Your cookies will be in the mail soon!

2nd.. it has been less than 24 hours, and I am over Twitter. I have 4.2 friends, and they all know how to get a hold of me. I don't need to tweet, too. Between my phone, texting, facebook (I now know how to make it work), email (I have more email accounts than a Nigerian email scammer), and I this blog.... I think all my bases are covered. Now I need a life to write about.

I also have to brag a bit... I have a friend who shall be called 'A' for.. um. .. Angie.. who was single and adorable and funny and she deserved sooo much and put up with far toooo much in her long term relationship she left. Then, there was a girl..lets call her 'T' ..like.. for Tammy..... that Mic thinks is really great (and it takes a lot for her to even SHARE with me when she thinks someone is really great)- so I knew she had a lot to offer. When I met T I saw her adorable dimples.... she seemed so down to earth... I agreed with Mic-- she seemed great!

I set them up.

And now they are in that lesbian stage of dating when you meet, then hang out, then dig each other.... but you are "supposed" to be taking it slow... then you become girlfriends. You know... about 52 hours after meeting the girl with the cutest dimples and makes you feel "mushy" (Angie's word- not mine) :)

I am so so HAPPY for this to be happening.

I have also let Angie know, if this goes down in a ball of flames... I had NOTHING to do with it, and I will instantly blame Tammy and tell Angie that she was too good for Tammy, anyways.

Because I am a 15 1/2 year old girl...

I am hating the new Facebook.... and I need a social networking fix... I joined Twitter. I also know there is a new thing through Google called Buzz or something.. .

anyone else going through a social network withdrawal?

technicalities

When we had our weigh in I was only down .5 lbs from last week. Then that night I pooped my brains out... now for the last two days when I weigh myself I am down three pounds.

Of course I will wait to celebrate that loss until my next weigh in-- hopefully I can keep that off!

Valentines day is coming up- and that is the only holiday Mic and I celebrate. I like to do little things for her just before the big day, too... so, I got the new Lady Antebellum cd for her, and tonight I will put it in her car's cd player with a cutesy little card so she can start her day off on a "good note"... aww....

On the 13th we are going to the L*esbian A*liance Valentines Day dance with a group of friends-- we go every year- and it is always a hoot! This year Nonny and her hubby, Mike are coming down on the 12th to stay at the house. I don't know if we will be able to see them much, though, as I believe we are going out to dinner that night. Speaking of Nonny, I had a fantastic visit with her up in Oshkosh on Friday- we went to a comedy club and then to a karaoke bar... it was SO NICE to just hang out with no pressure to go go go! I miss my friend.
