Does anyone know abo.. is that something shiny?

My head is all over today -
I can't seem to stay on track, I am in some sort of lala land...

Things on my brain-
  • I wish I would have spent more time with my 'rents before they went back to Florida
  • Big things coming up soon - keep posted
  • its almost spring. I want to be outside
  • family planning
  • I forgot my lunch
  • so many break up's lately
  • wildtree
  • getting back to church
  • homos from high school keep popping up!
  • I miss Maurice
  • I am looking forward to home sharing with Rebecca
  • I hope no one dies today
  • There is nothing else to look at on the internet
  • why wont anyone email me?

Ugh. and that was in the last 45 seconds.

yum.

After work tomorrow, we are boarding a school bus and heading down to the dogpark. I do not know what to expect. AT ALL. I just know it costs $5 for the bus- that includes pop and beer, and the betting is $2... and they have $2 pop and beer at the track.. or park.. or whatever it is.

I decided to make everyone cookies...

I will no longer be making toll house cookies... these bar FAR are the best cookies in town, and they come from this recipe. The best thing is that is makes a BOAT LOAD...er.. bus load? of them.

My friend from high school is coming and bringing two of her friends-- I am looking forward to meeting new peeps!

Big Day!

Mic and I don't do much in the way of holidays. We aren't big gift givers for one another as we purchase things when we need. On Valentines day and each of our b-days, we DO something special. Tonight we are going to the Milwaukee Lesbian Alliance Valentines Day Dance-- we have done this before, and it is just a nice event to attend. I also had my friend from work, Rebecca, make some of her special sugar cookies for Mic. Don't get me STARTED on Rebecca's talents as a baker. If she wasn't going to school to be a funeral director-- I would co-sign a loan for her to open some sort of bakery-- she is AMAZING... anyways.. She made sugar cookie hearts and put them on sticks.. I gave her phrases to put on them... things that are funny or meaningful between Mic and I.. like "My Boo", "SPOON ME!" (her response: NO. My response.. HONEY! SPOON ME! Her response: NO. Me: You can't just go saying 'no' to me whenever you want... Her: *giggle* okay.. I will spoon you), "Cute hair", "HONEY- c'mere, look at this" (I probably say that 34 times a day), "put your mask on!" -- That one is funny because I wear a sleep mask, and that is the last thing I hear everynight-- who wouldn't want to be lulled to sleep like that??? :)
Rebecca got a rose box from a floral shop we work with regularly, and walked into the kitchen lastnight with them-- Mic LOVED them.. that made me happy!

We had our first Wildtree open house lastnight at our house-- the turnout was great and it was just a REALLY good time. Mic and I love the product so much- I think people could really tell- and they went nuts. The stuff sells itself. IT IS all DEELLISSHHH. What is totally weird, and we actually woke up this morning talking about it.. (I know! our pillow talk is roomaanntticc!!!).l..people came over lastnight, talked, ate, drank some wine (like most of the get togethers we have) and we MADE money. WEIRD!!! People were so thrilled that three guests signed up for parties.. and those are going to be a blast, too! Is it strange that when I pull out my camera, the dog poses? Yeah. I thought so.

I won!

A clearblue easy monitor on ebay. Funny how they call it a "win" as I still have to pay for it.

hmph.

Problemo.. I am still the highest bidder for another one... I was bidding on two.

shit.

Big business.

My gal made my lunch for me today.

In doing that she also was proving a point that I need to bring my lunch bag home from work. Or, take it out of the car... or.. um...find it. The fact that I don't know where it is makes me less tempted to look for it-- fear of the old lunch stink.

So, she recycled a spinach container that we finished lastnight.

My lunch is bigger than the daily paper. .. and heavier than a duck (for those of you who play 20Q)

Thanks Ladies!

Okay- GOOOOD veeandjay- thank you for sharing.

I haven't liked it from the get go. I never fully grasped it. Its my fault. Everyone else seems to love it - and has no problems.

I am going to invest in the monitor that AIB is using... holy expensive.... and watch the CM etc. Now I would just like to see what options there are out there for the at home insem.. we were using baby medicine syringes... is that the best thing?

Angie and Amy .... I will clarify later.... gotta get to work... :)
